Vigil of the 4th Sunday in Ordinary Time

January 31, 2010

One Answer to “Atheism”…

Taught to me…
by a wise and proficient Dominican priest…
God IS, indeed,

When we, as simple humankind, can see
any or all of these…
we perceive
God in Eternity.

Mattering not what conventionalities
we and others may give in stupidity,
there are, in fact, many
such proclivities…
to deny or exclaim
God’s Holy Name.
Even those who know not
are caught
in this uproar Glorious
proving themselves victorious,
as this Dominican’s domain
is Reality all the same.
God does not need
one to call Him “deity”
when this is conceived
as less than What He/She be–

Be pleased to know, also…
that humanity’s brazen fame–
while spewing out their loud acclaims…
shows we know
even less than it seems.
is the dance
of unity and righteousness.
each with each–belief
shines forth in varying tones–
moving to prove
the essential ingredient,
(so expedient),
going to the very Source
of the universe…

Of course,
my friend and leige…
unique but same,
we will all blend
at time’s end in harmony–
immerged in God’s great sea. Amen

One Response to “Vigil of the 4th Sunday in Ordinary Time”

  1. I’m so tired of everyone trying to convince each other that each is more correct than the next…
What’s wrong with allowing each to see in their own individual “way”: “in God’s house are many mansions”. But I go wrong, as well, in being tired of the search for TRUTH by those who are seeking–it the self-righteousness that “gets” to me.
